Thanks to assistance from several local guardian angels, 10-year-old Krysten Pelletier of Ballston Spa will be able to maneuver the entrances to her home following hamstring surgery slated Tuesday at Albany Medical Center.
Beverly Kantrowicz, spokesperson for Saratoga County Association for Retarded Citizens, said James Pelletier of Ballston Spa, Krysten's father, called ARC's Family Support Services for assistance recently.
Following the surgery, Krysten, who has had cerebral palsy since birth, would be unable to get in and out of their home unless a wheelchair ramp was installed, James Pelletier said. She will …
