TAS: Yachties, family and friends farewell dead sailors

Yachties from around the world and family and friends have farewelled the six who died in
this year's disastrous Sydney to Hobart yacht race.

The glorious summer weather in Hobart today could scarcely have been more different than
the tumultuous seas that five days ago brought havoc and death to the race fleet.

The Yachties Farewell, as the organisers called it, was held on Hobart's Constitution Dock
before about 2,000 people.

Many of the race yachts were tied up at the dock.
