LOS ANGELES An airborne reporter who broadcast live scenes of atrucker's beating during the city's spring riots pointed out threemen in court Monday as the driver's attackers.
Bob Tur, a helicopter pilot and reporter, testified at apreliminary hearing for the men charged in the April 29 beating ofReginald Denny. If the judge is convinced enough evidence exists, hewill order a trial.
Footage that Tur took during the riots was played on a giant TVscreen. Police had used it to identify and arrest the allegedattackers.
